says a lot about our Philosophy.

Best “hikers” introduction to the island of Lesvos
The weekly program is an initial programme and great way of introducing the enchanting island to the “walking” visitor of Lesvos. These guided five most beautiful hikes around the “Lepetimnos mountain” will let you discover and escape at the same time. You will be immersed in the island’s flora and fauna as well as experience the past and present, slow down and leave everyday life far behind.
With these best one day hikes you cover the attractive north east and central regions of Lesvos.
The meeting point for all of these tours is the picturesque village of Molyvos.
Walks can be booked as a weekly program or by the day.
We walk from the end of March on the most beautiful month of spring-April to mid-June and mid-September to late November.
The program is individually expandable.
Walks as a seminar blocks (Yoga Feldenkrais Burn out prevention stress management, etc.) available for booking.
Walks for seasoned Lesvos hikers:
Not only for those that have already walked in the north east and central regions of Lesvos I offer tours in and around the attractive Olympos Mountains. The meeting point for these tours in the south is our charming accommodation the “Olive Grove lodge” situated in countryside surroundings most delightful on the Gulf of Geras. The South has new, wide and completely different landscape aspects with its vastness and the imposing marble top of Olympos Mountain. More Original Greece is hard to see.
10-Day – Combined North / South program schedule and dates
The best time of the year for hiking, besides the blossoming springtime March until Mai is autumn again late September until December when all in central Europe is grey and cold. The orange, red and gold of our sun bathed island offers a warm alternative where walking is a pleasure and even swimming maybe possible Optional in very early springtime and late autumn (no shade!) it is possible to walk to and through the island’s “Petrified Forest”.
The following applies to all walking tours:
- A minimum of 4 participants are required to form a group
- Distances walked will be between 15 and 25 km the altitude can vary from 50 to 500 m
- Stout walking shoes are a must as is a reasonable degree of fitness
- Sun cream and sun hat are essentials. Light rainwear is advisable
- On Lesvos it is always a good idea to have swimming gear along
Our routes often take us along donkey tracks, old pilgrim trails and long forgotten stony mountain paths, sometimes crossing streams, scrambling over scree and boulders, fences and hedges. On the way maybe meeting up with donkeys, sheep and goats, perhaps a falcon, buzzard or jay even a tortoise or salamander.
Although a midday break is mostly taken at a rural taverna, sometimes with grandiose scenic views or directly overlooking the Aegean, one should always have an adequate snack and plenty to drink in the rucksack.
